My Proposal* "Let´s read"

Based on communicative approach and constructivist model, it is necessary to help students to develop four  main abilities: listening, speaking, reading and writng. Because of that my proposal is based on the development of the reading ability.

Teachers in general don´t have only the duty of teaching a specifi subject, but we should develop in students other kinds of habits too, such as the reading one. It is very important that each one of the knowledge areas (such as natural sciences, social sciences, etc.) develop in students, the reading, comprehension and writing abilities, because this abilities will be very useful in the scholar life and daily life of the students.

Due to that, I propose the creation of an space  where high school students could read different kinds of books in english, since tales, ghosts stories, miths, interviews, articles, etc., for they can develop the reading habit at the same time they practice the english language. Also in that space there will be different kinds of magazines for students could be in touch that are interesting for them.

In this way, the students will develop the reading ability not just in spanish, but in english, and this idea can work for encourage them tho develop the writing ability too.
